...but I never, never, never understood the appeal of the new My Little Pony show, at least with the surprisingly large fanbase outside the show's intended demographic - the "Bronie Phenomenon", as I call it.
Yet somehow, in CollegeHumor's newest animated sketch, I cannot help but affirm to the many things that I personally see from this specific fraction of MLP fans. [link]
As with anything with a large following, I'm sure what is shown in the sketch can be applied there, as well. There are exploited stereotypes, then there are the cases where the truth is just as scary as you may hear.
In a way, I'm kinda glad I never fell that deep into any fandom. Kinda... Don't get me talking about Gurren Lagann. Or Final Fantasy VII.
